Religious Education (CCD)

In this ministry, we educate children in the Catholic faith, instructing them to make their First Communion. They are taught the main prayers, as well as the most important aspects of our faith. In addition to children's classes during the children's class parents also have religious instruction so everyone participates, both parents and children learn about their faith, their church, and it's traditions.

 

Activites 

Some of our major activites include an All Saints' Day in which the children participate in by dressing up as a saint and talking about the saint they chose. In addition, we as a program accompany the march in the procession of the Virgin of Guadalupe; a pilgrimage which takes place on the first Sunday in December. Another joyous activity our students participate in are our parish posadas during Advent. Lastly every Saturday the students can find that in addition to the instruction there is companionship and harmony among the children.

Educacion Religiosa (CCD)

​​​​​En este ministerio, educamos a los niños en la fe catolica, se les instruye para que hagan su Primera Comunion. Se les enseñan las principales oraciones, asi como las cosas mas importantes de nuestra fe. Durante la clase de los niños; los padres de familia tienen instruccion religiosa asi que todos participan, tanto padres como niños aprenden sobre su fe, su iglesia y tradiciones.

 

Actividades 

Los niños participan en un desfile el dia de todos los santos vistiendose de algun santo y hablando sobre el santo que escogieron. Tambien acompañan a la Virgen de Guadalupe en la peregrinacion el primer domingo de diciembre. Disfrutamos las posadas y la compañia cada sabado en las clases en donde ademas de la instruccion hay compañerismo y convivencia entre los niños.
